Here is my grandson, Andrew, at 19 months in his cowboy gear. He looks so much older than this - over two, at least. We have enjoyed being grandparents with Andrew and have been fortunate to see him nearly every week since he was born. He has a great sense of humour and loves a good laugh. He's my biggest fan. I feel so fortunate to have lived long enough to see grandchildren, something my mother didn't experience.
Our daughter informed us recently that she and her husband are expecting a second baby, likely on July 3, 2009. It will be so interesting to meet another new personality, right now hidden and carefully nurtured by our daughter, who has been a constant joy, full of gratifying surprises since her own birth in 1978.
